What it is made of
- 100% Australian merino wool, 17.5 micron, next-to-skin grade.
- Merino jersey body, 160 g/m². Light enough to train in, warm enough at rest.
- Side and back panels in merino mesh. Open knit, still zero synthetic.
- No polyester, no nylon, no elastane. One fibre on the label.
Fit and sizing
Athletic fit. Cut close through the chest and shoulders, straight through the body. If you are between sizes, size up.
Care
Between sessions, hang it overnight. Merino lets the moisture go and the smell with it.
When it is dirty: cold wool wash, hang to dry, no softener, no tumble dryer.

The fibre does it, not a coating. Merino takes in moisture as vapour and lets it go to the air.
Hang it overnight, wear it again
Polyester holds on to the oily part of sweat through the wash. Wool takes the sweat compounds into the fibre and lets them go as it airs.
Open where you heat up
Merino mesh at the sides and the back. An open knit, still 100% wool.
Nothing synthetic
No polyester, no nylon, no elastane. Not in the body, not in the panels.
A “merino” gym shirt can still have polyester in the mesh. This one doesn’t.
Ventilation panels are where a blend can hide. Ours are knit from the same 17.5 micron merino as the body, just more open.

Does it itch?
No. The fibre is 17.5 micron, the grade made to be worn next to the skin. It reads as a soft tee, not as wool.
How often do I wash it?
When it is dirty. Owners of 100% merino tees report several wears between washes. Hang it overnight between.
Is merino too warm for summer?
No. It moves sweat as vapour and the mesh panels vent where you heat up. Worn alone in summer heat, as a base layer the rest of the year.
How should I wash it?
Cold, on the wool cycle, then hang to dry. No softener, no tumble dryer.
